Funeral Services: Will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield with burial following in the Greenfield Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Orient United Methodist Church following the burial. Mr. Phil Price will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Open Visitation: Will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield.

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield.

Memorials: May be made to the Connie Lundy Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Connie Ann Lundy the daughter of Robert and Frances (Dorsey) Dory was born January 6, 1955. She passed away October 2, 2025, after a two year long hard-fought battle with cancer in her home at the age of 70.

Connie was welcomed home by a sister and two brothers. She lived most of her life in Adair County, Iowa. She went to Greenfield School graduating with the class of 1973. She met her future husband at a football game in October of 1972. Phillip and Connie were married on February 2, 1974. To this union one son, Jared, was born.

Connie worked at the Greenfield Manor until Jared was born then later went to work at Creston Nursing and Rehab later known as Creston Specialty Care until she retired in April of 2019 after 28 years of service.

In Connie’s spare time she enjoyed working in the garden and taking care of her flower beds. When her two grandchildren came along, they were the biggest part of her life. She attended all of their activities including dance, softball, band, track, soccer, baseball and football.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Robert Jr.; sister, Mary Johnston; and in-laws, Virgil and Lucille Lundy.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Phillip Lundy; son, Jared Lundy and wife Gayla of Orient; granddaughter, Haileigh; grandson, Paden; two brothers, David Dory (Maggie) of York, Nebraska and Tom Dory (Lois) of Osceola, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Plus an extended family of four girls and their families. Connie will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
