Connie J. Miller, 77, of Duncannon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Carolyn's House - the Hospice Residence in Susquehanna Township.
Born January 12, 1948, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Elsie (Gibney) Mullen. Connie's heart was forever woven together with the love of her life, John A. Miller; they were married on June 22, 1968.
A graduate of Susquenita High School, Connie dedicated 30 years of service to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Clerk III in the Title Division of the Department of Transportation until her retirement.
As a woman of profound faith, Connie's love for the Lord was a lifelong commitment. She was a faithful member of the former Asbury United Methodist Church, where she was married and baptized before transferring her membership to Otterbein United Methodist Church. Her faith was her compass, guiding her through life's challenges and joys. In addition, Connie was a member of the Red Hat Society, where she shared friendship and fellowship.
Connie possessed a love for her family that was fierce and unconditional. She was the epitome of a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family and friends. Her kindness and loyalty extended beyond her home, touching the lives of many elderly people in the community. Connie's loving nature made her a true friend to many. Cooking and baking were among Connie's treasured interests, and her Sand Tarts were legendary. Each Christmas season, her delicious creations were eagerly anticipated, a tradition that will be fondly remembered.
Connie is survived by her husband of 57 years, John A. Miller; brother, Harold "Buzzy" Mullen and his wife, Brenda, of Duncannon as well as a host of dearly beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin "Moon", Richard "Dick", Edith, John, Carl "Cug", Dean, Bob, Harry, Ray, Jay, Dolores "Sissy", Gerald "Jerry", Clyde "Click", Amos and Pauline. Connie was also looking forward to her reunion on the Rainbow Bridge with her beloved canine companions, Heather and Mindy.
In keeping with her specific wishes, services for Connie will be private. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
