Connie Russell was born on December 27, 1951, in Nashville, Tennessee. She passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, at Maple Cottage Memory Care in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Connie’s family is deeply grateful for the loving care she received from the staff during her time there.

Connie’s life was marked by her creative spirit and her unwavering kindness. For over 25 years, she delighted many with her talents through her own business, "Connie's Creations," where she sold her beautiful arts and crafting projects. Her creativity flourished as she made the world around her a more beautiful place. She graduated from Issac Litton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in commercial art at David Lipscomb University, which laid the foundation for her successful craft business.

Those who knew Connie remember her as sweet and kind, a person who always managed to make others smile. She was a loving wife to her husband of fifty-two years, Billy Joe Russell, and is cherished by her sister Joan M. Trew, as well as her nieces Heather and Melissa. Connie also had a special bond with her four beloved dogs: Benji, Sunny, Petey, and Bailey, who brought joy to her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Joe Miller and Rose Marie Miller.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Both events will take place at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
