Connie Sisson, 80 of North Little Rock, AR, gained her heavenly wings August 25, 2025, after a long battle with Lewy-Body and Alzheimer’s. Connie Spent her last days wrapped in the love and support of her siblings, daughter, granddaughter, niece, best friend, and her village of friends who she regarded as family. Holding her daughter and granddaughters’ hand she accepted her wings and stepped into the loving embrace of Jesus, we know it was followed closely by her soul mate Bob who had gone early to get her homecoming ready. Connie was a devout Christian and member of Levy United Methodist Church and member of United Methodist Women. Connie was forever a social butterfly willing to talk to a friend, stranger or even a wall if there was no one else around. Bob often said if you want the news to get out Telephone-Telegraph-Tell Connie. Her father would joke that as a child he would offer her a nickel if she could be silent and not talk for 30 minutes. He never had to pay her. Connie loved being a mother and wife but the job he loved above all else was being “NeNe” to her granddaughter Kailey. So much so that once she gained that title that was the name most everyone called her by, and she came to introduce herself as NeNe to anyone she met.

Connie is preceded in Death by her parents Lester and Dora Gann, and her beloved husband Robert “Bob” Sisson. She leaves behind her daughter Robin Sisson, granddaughter Kailey Sisson, Son Alan (Debbie) Sisson, Sister Juanita Culverson, Brother Lyle (Debbie) Gann, and many nieces and nephews and other family. She also leaves behind what she and Robin called their “Village”: Her best Friends Marcy and Thad Echols, Shannon and Brandon Stanford, Tucker Stanford (her “choice” Grandson), Alayna, Blakely, and Parker Simpson, Melanie Godfrey, Melissa Drake and KJ Kite. Their village was friends that she considered family and without whose support we would not have made it through the last few years. They loved “Nene” and would drop everything day or night to run and help Nene. Supplying her with not only love and support but Endless Bananas, Ice Cream, car rides, hair do’s, and little sneak aways from Robin. “Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever.”

In lew of flowers the family asks for donations to Community Cats of Central Arkansas, or Levy united Methodist Church.
