Connie Lee Wilson, age 78, of Savonburg, Kansas, passed away February 15, 2025, at Neosho Memorial Regional Hospital, Chanute, Kansas. Connie was born August 12, 1946, in Moran, Kansas, to Alden L. Dennis and Velma N. (Brooks) Dennis.
Connie attended school in Moran. She and Robert L. Wilson were married June 2, 1963, in Moran, Kansas.
Connie worked in education in the Blue Valley School District and for ANW Special Education Cooperative.
Connie enjoyed gardening, especially growing flowers, she enjoyed sewing, winemaking, painting, cooking, bird watching, and her animals. She liked to watch Antiques Road Show and she liked to go to antique stores. She was a collector of giraffe collectibles. Connie loved spending time with her family and grandkids.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and great-grandson, Bentley Morgan McMaster.
Connie is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Bryan L. Wilson, Russell S. (Kristal) Wilson; grandchildren, Sydney Lindsey, Kaylah Wilson, Julie Wilson, Leah Wilson, Adam Wilson; great-grandchildren, Dakota Wilson-Underwood, Elena Lindsey; sisters, Donna Lind, Vicki (Leo) Werner, Terri Oliphant; and brother, Rick (Debbie) Dennis.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
