Gordon M. Wilson

Gordon Myrl Wilson, born on April 10, 1929, in Muncie, Indiana, passed away on March 16, 2026, in Turlock, California. He was married to Marilyn Lou Wilson on October 23, 1948, in New Castle, Indiana, and together they built a life filled with love and family. Gordon is survived by his children, Susan Terrell (Phillip) and Michael Wilson (Vicki); grandchildren, Leah Fox (Stephen) and Andrew Wilson (Melissa); and great-grandchildren, Joseph Fox, Luke Wilson, and Hannah Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Lou Wilson; his parents, Paul and Mildred Wilson, and his brothers, Myron and Donald Wilson.

Gordon worked as an electronic engineer to a developmental engineer at IBM, retiring in 1982. Gordon's hobbies included gardening, hunting, and carpentry. He was a true "jack of all trades, master of all," always eager to take on new projects and share his skills with others.

A man of deep faith, Gordon was actively involved in several congregations throughout his life, including First Christian Church of Los Gatos, Calvary Community Church of San Jose, The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Modesto, and Calvary Chapel of Turlock.

Services to honor Gordon's life will be held on April 2, 2026, at Turlock Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
