Connie Louise Waters Wright, 79, of Martinez, passed away on January 26, 2025 in her home.
Connie was born in Norfolk, VA to Walter Daniel Waters, Jr and Dorothy Elaine Keefe on November 17, 1945. She went to school in Virginia Beach Va. She married Stanford Wallace Wright on May 4, 1963 in Virginia Beach, VA.
She worked hard and earned her GED in Augusta, Ga. She worked as a dog groomer for Connie’s Small Dog Pet Grooming for many years from her home.
Connie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stan, her sister, Nancy, and her parents Walter Daniel and Dorothy, and her cherished stepfather, John Alton Baird.
Connie is survived by her daughters Terry (Eric) Kent, and Susan (Frank) Mitchum, her grandchildren; Tim (Erin) Patch, Matthew (Chelsea) Hartley, Sonja (Larry) McLester, Havin (Dennis) Frashuer, Sean (Ciara) Cudd and seven great-grandchildren, her sisters Robin (Bob) Enloe, Kathy (Tim) Hux and life-long best friends George Boatright and Sharen and Cyndi Price and her beloved dog “Goose”.
Memorials may be given to the family of Connie. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Geri Lowery and Eddie Overby.
Per her wishes, funeral services will not be held. Cremation will follow.
