Connor Clay Autry, 14, of Fort Smith, AR went home to be forever with the Lord on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born on July 18, 2009 in Fort Smith. Connor was a student at Darby Middle School. He was a member of Reconcile Church in Van Buren, AR. He loved the Lord and gave his life to Christ. He excelled in technology, computers and coding and being helpful to others. He loved spending time with family and his animals. He always said that love was the key.
He is survived by his mother, Kelly Fox (David) of Fort Smith, his father Christopher Autry of Greenbriar, AR, two sisters, Zoey Washburn of Fort Smith and Alayna Cooksey of Houston, TX, brother Kyler Cooksey of Houston, grandparents Sheryl Zavala of CA, Tammy Morales (Paul) of NE, David Fox, Sr. (Flor) of Fort Smith and Bruce Harris of Fort Smith. He is also survived by three aunts, Gwendolyn Washburn of Hot Springs, Pam Terry (Kyle) of Greenwood and Cindy Hogue (Troy) of Hot Springs and one uncle Ryan Harris of Fort Smith.
Connor's celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Reconcile Church, 4311 Kibler Rd, Van Buren, AR 72956. The graveside committal service will follow at 3:00 pm at Gravel Hill Cemetery, 6259 AR-9, Benton, AR 72019. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
