Connor Markovski

Connor Markovski passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He was 19 years old.

Born in Livingston to Steve and Ali, Connor joined big sister, Emma and soon made Rockaway his lifelong home. In 2024, he graduated from Morris Hills High School, where Connor was a proud and accomplished member of the track team. A decorated athlete, he earned numerous awards throughout his high school career and was known not only for his speed and strength, but also for his dedication and sportsmanship.

Following graduation, Connor pursued his dream of a career in law enforcement. He was a recruit at the Essex County Police Academy and had recently been hired by the Morris County Sheriff's Department - an achievement he was immensely proud of. Connor was especially looking forward to one day working with the K-9 Unit.

Connor was the kind of young man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. With a quiet strength and a warm smile, he carried himself with humility, kindness, and a deep sense of responsibility.

In his short 19 years, he lived a life that mattered - one that continues to inspire everyone who knew and loved him.

One of the most important things in Connor's life was his family - always putting them first, showing up without being asked, and never hesitating to lend a hand. He is survived by his loving parents, Steve and Ali (nee-Heady); his best friend and sister, Emma; his cherished grandparents: Alekso and Cana Markovski and Clara Heady; his dear Aunt and Uncle: Beti Bauer and her husband, Jeremy and his Uncle, Nick Heady and his wife, Tabii; and his little cousins Sadie, Hazel, Evan and Nickolas; Connor also leaves behind countless friends and family who will forever cherish his memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. Interment to immediately follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton. Visiting hours will be held on Monday Evening from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
