Constance Bianculli Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. - Lyndhurst on Jan. 14, 2026.
Constance M. Bianculli (nee Bennett), 86, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, with her daughter and grandson by her side. Constance was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst. She was the proud owner of Skip's Luncheonette in town, along with her husband Jimmy. They opened the luncheonette in the early 1970's and for 20 years served coffee and kinship to the Lyndhurst community until 1991. Connie continued working at the cafeteria for Panasonic Corporation, Secaucus, serving breakfast and lunch to employees. She also became a crossing guard for the town, stationed at Orient Way and Valley Brook Avenue, where she would usher schoolchildren safely back and forth to school and Hilltop Park. At the age of 83, Connie finally hung up her stop sign, after many years of service. Connie led a life committed to nurturing and caring for people. We will miss her deeply. Constance was predeceased by her beloved husband, James M Bianculli in 1993, all her siblings, and by her son, Thomas V. Pugliese. She is survived by her loving daughter, Suzanne Pugliese and by her "Apple of her Eye", grandson, TJ Pugliese.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Wednesday January 21, 2026 at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Graveside Service begins at 11AM. Cremation was private and under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. You may express condolences to Constance's family by using our tribute wall.
