Gail Karen Ardizzone, 80, of
Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. Born and raised in
the Bronx, New York, Gail was fiercely proud of her Bronx roots and the vibrant New York City upbringing that shaped her spirit. She often spoke fondly of her days on Arthur Avenue, the heart of her community, and the energy, culture, and close-knit family life that defined her youth. She also treasured the summers she spent at her family's inn, La Belle Ranch, in
Saratoga, NY - a place filled with cherished memories that remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Gail was the beloved wife of her best friend, Alfred "Freddie" Ardizzone, with whom she shared 45 beautiful years of love, and devotion. Their life together was a true love story, filled with laughter, excitement and unwavering affection.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Gail worked at Jamesway Corporation in
Secaucus, NJ, where she served as a Data Entry Supervisor. She took great pride in her work, embracing technology at a time when the field was rapidly evolving - a reflection of her lifelong curiosity and comfort with innovation.
She is survived by her loving husband Freddie; her sisters, Tanya Catanzaro and Denise Timm; her daughter, Brooke Kaska-Esposito, and son-in-law Sal Esposito; and her stepdaughter, Dana Ardizzone. She also leaves behind her cherished pups, Pippin and Max Ardizzone, who brought her endless comfort and joy.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Josephine (Seru) Muscillo, beloved sisters, Naomi Baker and Wanda Enock, her beloved cousin Louise Allen and her dearly loved English Sheepdogs Brandy and Pooh Bear and her treasured cat, Spatz. She has finally found her way to seeing them again all.
Gail was an artist at heart and was known for her kindness and warm heart. Her creativity was impressive - from sculpting to video creation and editing, digital art, and embracing new technologies with curiosity and enthusiasm. She was an avid reader and lifelong learner. She was obsessed with new technologies and self-taught her skills in computer networking. Her greatest passion, however, was cinema. Gail took immense pride in her expansive collection of classic films and found deep joy in storytelling through the silver screen. Music and dancing were also constants in her life; in her youth, she and her sister performed together as The La Belle Twins, sharing their voices and stage presence with infectious energy.
Gail lived fully and loved deeply. She brought artistry, warmth, humor, and strength to those around her. Hers was truly a life well lived, and she will be remembered always for her creativity, her generous spirit, and the love she gave so freely.
She will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
