Constance Brackett Obituary

Constance "Connie" Booth Brackett, 71, resident of Daufuskie Island, SC, died February 21, 2026, at her home. She was born in Charlotte NC on August 15, 1954, daughter of the late Vernon and Trula Booth. Connie was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School and earned her associate's degree in interior design from Arapahoe Community College, in Littleton, Colorado. She was a former high end baby furniture and décor store owner, who designed children's nurseries for numerous celebrities and professional athletes.

Connie is survived by her husband Jim Brackett of Daufuskie Island; daughter Heather (Jonathan) Foster; brother Larry (Belva) Booth, and grandchildren Dillon (Ashley) Kubic, Carter (Aaron) Dickman Kubic, and Jackson Foster.

Funeral service will be held on Monday March 2, 2026 at 11:00am in the Francis Chapel at Myers Park United Methodist Church, 1501 Queens Rd, Charlotte, NC. A private graveside service for the family will follow.
