Constance DiNardi

Constance DiNardi (nee Leoni) Age 86

Beloved wife of 30 years of the late John DiNardi.

Devoted mother of Cathy (Lou) Van Duerm and John (Kathi) DiNardi.

Cherished grandmother of Louie, David, Dana, Stephanie, Nick, Anthony and Matthew.

Proud great-grandmother of Lola, Sydney and Sienna.

Connie grew up in the City of Chicago Clearing neighborhood where she raised her family and then moved to Palos Park. She proudly belonged to St. Rene Groupil church in Chicago and later to Sacred Heart in Palos Park. She was a devout Catholic who traveled the world to worship Mary and Jesus. She belonged to many catholic organizations and she enjoyed traveling, playing cards and taking care of her family. She cherished her Italian and Polish heritage but mostly loved cooking for the holidays which always meant Italian cuisine. In retirement, she visited Guadalupe, Lourdes, Medjugorje, and Fatima.

She loved spending time and playing Kings in the Corner with her grandchildren. Easter was her favorite holiday and nothing was better than her Easter morning brunch with blessed food.

She would say a rosary and prayer religiously every day. Amazingly, even with Alzheimer's she knew her prayers. She could recite her Hail Mary and Our Father until she no longer could speak.

Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m.

Funeral Thursday 9:15 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to Our Lady of the Woods Church, Mass 10:00 a.m.

Interment Resurrection Cemetery

In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated.
