Visitation Sunday April 6, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Family and friends will meet Monday at 10 am until the time of funeral service at 10:30 am at Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church, 1207 Riverwoods Rd. Lincolnshire, IL 60069. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, 2905 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171.
The Funeral service will be live-streamed on Monday, April 7th at 10:30 a.m. (CST) AT THIS LINK on the website of Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church (https://www.ascensiongoc.com/livestream). It can also be viewed on Ascension's Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/AscensionGOC/); and the church's YouTube channel.

Connie was a sweet, caring, & great person. I remember how she got up early & prepared breakfast for her family. She was ambitious & hard working. What a wonderful neighbor, who lived close to me on Melvina in Chicago. She always had a smile on her face & never a harsh word. Condolences to the Gekas Family!

I will always remember Connie Gekas. She was a kind, sweet, and fun lady. I loved her smile, and the twinkle in her eyes. How we Coltmans looked forward to visiting with the Gekases when they came up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to visit! Such a wonderful family. My love and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

Fond memories growing up with the Gekas family. Connie was a nice lady always showed hospitality when I had visited them, the Greek way! May God give the family strength during this difficult time and may her memory be eternal!
