Connie Bissell Glancy, age 78, of Conneaut Lake, PA crossed the finish line June 5, 2025. She was born at home in Mercer County on June 24, 1946 to the late Morton and Clara (Borntreger) Bissell. She married William G. Glancy on September 18, 1964. They just recently celebrated 60 years together. Connie worked several years as a personal care attendant and even had one (Henry Williams) who lived with her and her husband until he passed. She also worked at the county home. Connie attended Reash Community Church. She enjoyed singing and music, gardening, crafting, decorating, going to yard sales and serving. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she had two sons, Paul William Glancy and his wife, Sue of Cochranton, PA, Kurt L. Glancy (deceased) surviving spouse, Melissa (Glancy) Surber; four grandchildren, Nicholas Glancy and his wife, Jenny, Alyssa Skelton and her husband, Derek, William Glancy and his wife, Lauren and Drew Glancy and his wife, Jaclyn, one great grandson, who was the love of her life, Everett Kurt Skelton ; her sister, Joanne Norr Hays of Meadville, PA and her brother, Richard Bissell and his wife, Mary Ann of Mt. Eaton, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Bissell, Samuel Bissell, Stephen Bissell and Morton Bissell Jr. Family and friends are invited to call at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 on Sunday June 8, 2025 from 4-6 pm and Monday June 9, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at noon with Pastor Nathan Bailey of Reash Community Church officiating.
