Constance Grant Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home on Jan. 24, 2026.
Constance D. Grant, affectionately known as Connie to her friends and family, passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on November 5, 1941, to the late George and Irene Daley, Connie's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the simple joys that make a life well-lived.
Connie was predeceased by both of her loving husbands, William Tully and William Grant, with whom she shared many cherished years. Her legacy continues through her devoted children: Meredith Koch of Wareham, Carolyn Dias of Raynham, Thomas Tully of North Carolina, George Grant of Holbrook, Dana Hohenleitner-Burns of Avon, and her nephew Todd Hohenleitner of Marshfield. She was a sister to the late Carolyn Hohenleitner and Judith Cardarelli. Her life was further enriched by her 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride.
Connie's role as a homemaker was one she embraced with her whole heart. She poured her love and energy into creating a warm and welcoming home on Brook Rd. in Milton, a place where countless memories were made and where everyone who entered felt like family.

Her interests were centered around the happiness and well-being of her family. Connie loved being a mother above all else, and her children and their offspring were the center of her universe. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, celebrating their achievements and guiding them with gentle wisdom.
Connie's life was one of quiet strength and dignity. She was a woman of few words, but her actions spoke volumes about the depth of her compassion and the breadth of her kindness. Those who knew her were touched by her generosity and her ability to make each person feel special and loved.
As we say goodbye to Connie, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that gave so much to so many. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Constance D. Grant's memory will be cherished, and her legacy of love will endure for generations to come.

Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton on Friday January 30th from 11:00-12:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held inside the funeral home at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Milton Cemetery.
