Constance Marie "Connie" (Prince) Kantner, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Cornwall, PA, with her loving husband David by her side. Born in Manchester, NH, Connie was the daughter of the late William A. and Ella (Szot) Prince. She was married for an incredible 62 years to David L. Kantner, the true love of her life.
Connie graduated from Central High School in Manchester in 1957 before pursuing her passion for dental healthcare. She earned an associate's degree in dental hygiene from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of New Hampshire in 1963.
Connie dedicated her professional life to promoting dental health and education. She worked as a dental hygienist for many years, most recently at Penn's Commons Dental office in Wyomissing, and at Graterford Prison in Skippack Township, PA, before retiring. In the 1970s, Connie took great pride in serving as a Dental Health instructor for the Northern Schuylkill School District, where she helped instill lifelong habits of wellness among students.
Beyond her career, Connie was a devoted wife to her husband David and a loving mother to her daughter Anne, wife of Victor Marino, Harrisburg, and to her son David, husband of Liz (Snavely), Lancaster. She especially cherished time spent with her grandsons Nicholas and Tyler, who brought immense joy to their Grandma's life.
Connie found happiness in many pursuits, and she and Dave loved to travel and explore new places. They marveled in traveling to all 50 United States and were fortunate to travel both on their own and with long-time friends to places such as South Africa, South America, Cuba, England and France, Australia and New Zealand as well as Canada and Alaska. She treasured an experience to live in Poland for several months while Dave was working in Torun, Poland.
Connie's creativity shone through sewing and knitting projects that reflected both skill and care. She also enjoyed quiet moments reading or antiquing, and treasured days spent by the beach, especially in their beachside home in Ocean City, NJ. In her younger years Connie was an avid skier and horseback rider.
Connie's warmth and dedication touched many lives. Her memory will live on through those who knew and loved her. May it bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
