On January 19, 2025, Constance (Connie) Duty Langford passed away peacefully in Fairfax, Virginia. Born November 13, 1928, in Alexandria, Virginia, Connie spent her childhood and teenage years. Connie was a devout Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. She met her late husband, Aden C. Langford, at the Del Ray United Methodist Church in Alexandria and they married in 1948. Connie and Aden later moved to the City of Falls Church, Virginia and raised their family of three sons.
Before retiring to St. Clements Bay, Maryland, Connie devoted her life to family and worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Falls Church City Public Schools.
"Granny" will always be in our hearts and memories. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love of life included the Southern Maryland shores, crocheting, gardening, and reading. She is with the Good Lord now and smiling down on all of us.
Connie is survived by her loving sons Jim and Rodney (Patricia); grandchildren Ryan, Julie, Matthew (Stephanie), Sarah (Jonathan); and great grandchildren Nicholas, Penelope, Kelsey, and Madison. Connie was preceded in death by her son, Wayne A. Langford.
Services will be held at the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home and Crematory, 1500 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, Virginia on February 4, 2025 at 1100. Interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, Virginia.
