Constance Ann Lennon

Constance Ann Lennon, 70, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at NHC in Murrells Inlet. She was born March 27, 1954 in Albany, NY, a daughter of the late Matthew Joseph and Marian Lois Ulmer Lennon. Ms. Lennon is survived by her brothers, Michael P. Lennon (Sandra), Paul Joseph Lennon and John M. Lennon; special friend, Laura Foglio and many other family and friends who will miss her. There were four things that Connie loved. Connie loved spending time, traveling and camping with her family and friends. When parting Connie would always give you a hug and kiss. If you said to her, "I love you," she would always reply, "I love you more." Connie was very proud of serving in the Army from May 1977 thru July 1978 when she was Honorably Discharged in July of 1978. Several years after her service she became involved in Disabled American Vets. She also served as Commander of LT Vibert O Fryer Chapter #88 of Schenectady NY from 2013-2015. Connie also loved Native Drumming with her partner Rita and friends. She started drumming in 2009 with First Light Drum. She learned songs, drumbeats and drum etiquette. Connie also drummed with Keepers of the Circle on the Voice of the Mountain and later started drumming with Voice of the Grove Drum that was formed by her and her partner Rita. The group would travel and perform at nursing homes, VA Events and Powwows. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on June 23, 2025, at 10 AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, 41 Jolley Road, Glenmont, NY 12077. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena, NY. If you would like to make a donation in Connie's memory the family is asking you to send it to Lt.
