Dorothy M. Blowers, 79, passed away on February 9, 2026, at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Albany, NY on May 1, 1946, she is the youngest daughter of the late Edward W. and Pauline M. (Romanski) Fox.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Donald J Blowers Sr. just eight short months ago, two weeks shy of their 60th wedding anniversary, her sister Shirley Roy (Robert), her brothers Robert J Fox, William E Fox Jr.

She is survived by her seven children Donna Forschner (Thomas), Ronda Fusco, Tracy Welch (Robert), Stacy Blowers, Donald Blowers Jr, Calvin Blowers and Pauline (Chris) Catello. She is also survived by her sister Beverly A. Blowers of Florida. She is Nana (Nanny) to 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren & Aunt Dotty to many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a lifetime homemaker and took great pride in doing so. Everyone who knew her, knew that taking care of her home gave her joy. In her later years, When she wasn't at home, she was tagging along with Don, helping him on his jobs as a self employed plumber and electrician. She loved spending time with family and friends. She could always be seen looking lovingly and in awe of her husband. He was the love of her life. Bingo was a past time favorite of hers that she recently enjoyed once again with some of her children. Dorothy spent the last years of her life managing her own health as well as caring for Don and his health. She always did her best.

Your departure leaves a void that will never be filled in the hearts of your children, grandchildren, friends and family. Until we meet again. Mom, We love you Always and Forever.

In honor of our mom's wishes there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life for Dorothy will take place at a later date.
