Constance Marciante Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Constance Logue Marciante, a beloved mother, devoted wife, and passionate educator. She was born to the late Joseph and Winona Logue on January 1, 1948 in Biloxi, MS. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Deborah Garon. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Anthony Marciante Jr., her children, Anthony Marciante III (Jenna) and Laura Berger (Richard), her beloved grandchildren James, Vivien, and Audrey. They were the light of her life, bringing endless joy and laughter to her days. Constance's legacy is one of love, family, and dedication. Constance is also survived by her siblings, Rebecca Caine (Charles) and Joseph Logue (Sheryl), and her mother-in-law Lydia Marciante McDougald. As a dedicated educator of 40 years, Constance's impact reached beyond her family. Of most recent, she taught environmental sciences with the Mandeville Environmental Interpretive Program and Water Wonders Camp where she inspired young minds to appreciate the beauty of the natural world. Her commitment to nurturing curiosity will continue to flourish through the lives of her students. Beyond her professional achievements, Constance was known for her dry wit and sarcastic sense of humor. Her clever remarks and practical jokes kept everyone she knew laughing. She brought love, wisdom, and a delightful sense of humor to those lucky enough to know her. Constance's life was also enriched by her lifelong friendship with Sally and Edward Price, who shared in her joys and sorrows, and created countless memories together. A memorial service to honor Constance's life will be held at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21 Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433, on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 9:30 AM, until service time. Interment will take place privately at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The National Kidney Foundation in her honor. The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated doctors and nurses at Fresenius Kidney Care for their unwavering support throughout the years. Their commitment to Constance's well-being is deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.

Dear Marciante Family,
Mrs. Marciante taught me in third grade at St. Francis Xavier. She was one of my favorite teachers and I have thought of her often over the years. She was pregnant the year I had her and I always loved her style and her wit. My heartfelt prayers go out to your family on your loss. May she rest in the arms of our loving Lord forever.
