Constance Nolis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boylan Funeral Home, Inc. - Zelienople East on Mar. 2, 2026.
Constance "Connie" (Friedman) Nolis, 85, of Cranberry Twp., passed away peacefully on February 28,2026, surrounded by family.

Born on October 17, 1940, in Pittsburgh, to Ray and Dorothy (Samarco) Friedman.

She lived a life rooted in family, devotion, and quiet strength.

Connie carried with her the steadiness and practicality of her Pittsburgh upbringing. She shared a lifelong partnership with her husband, Andre "Andy" Nolis, standing faithfully beside him through every chapter of their lives together. Their marriage was defined by loyalty, perseverance, and enduring love.

In her earlier years, Connie was known for her sharp mind and natural gift with numbers. She loved card games, enjoyed reading novels, and found comfort in the simple rhythms of daily life. For twenty years, she baked a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies every single day - a tradition that became a lasting symbol of her steady love and devotion to her family.

In her later years, Connie faced significant health challenges with quiet grace. She remained surrounded by the care, love, and faithful presence of her family, who stood by her just as she had always stood by them.

She is survived by her brother, Raymond (Leisha) Friedman; sister, Joann (John) Balobeck; daughter, Vicky (Brent) Miller; son, Andy Nolis; grandson, Craig (Elizabeth) Rice; granddaughter, Jenna Miller; and great-grandson, Hudson Rice.

Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Dan Friedman.

Connie will be remembered for her unwavering devotion, her steady presence, and the love she expressed not in grand gestures, but in the constancy of everyday care.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. to honor both Connie and Andy, at Harmony-Zelienople Global Methodist Church, 123 N. Pittsburgh Street, Zelienople, PA 16063, followed by a light meal afterwards.

Arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, Inc., 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.
