Constance "Connie" Norby, 94, of Dubuque, passed away December 29, 2025, at home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30a.m., Friday, January 2, 2026, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Click here to view the livestream of the funeral mass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jS3oQ8PT_AA
Constance was born on May 16, 1931 to Leo and Kathryn (Larkin) Theisen in Dubuque.
She was united in marriage to Loren Norby on October 30, 1954 at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church.
Connie was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
In 1962, Connie and Loren started Norby's Farm Fleet. Connie was an integral part of the family business well into her late 80's.
Connie is survived by her children, Greg (Brenda) Norby of Dubuque, and Paula (Brian Enke) Norby of Dubuque. Also surviving are grandchildren, Meredith (John) Semrad, Ian Moodie, Tyler Norby, Tanner (Alyssa) Norby, and Connor (Kate) Norby; step-grandchildren, Craig (Mandy) Enke, and Jen Enke. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and 4 step-great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Pat Munch, and Jim Theisen.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Mary Kay Bondy; and in-laws, Marita Theisen, and Bob Munch.
Connie's family wishes to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Hospice of Dubuque and Stonehill At Home. Your care and compassion will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to DuRide, Hospice of Dubuque, and Stonehill At Home.
