Constance W. "Connie" Panepinto, beloved wife, dedicated mother, cherished grammy, and thoughtful friend, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Gladys (Bean) Wood.
Connie was a graduate of Norristown High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Goldey Beacom College. She dedicated 30 years of her life to Helping Hands in Bechtelsville, where she served as the Fiscal Director. Her commitment to service was evident throughout her career, which included roles as the church secretary and treasurer at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Frederick, as well as volunteering in many of the church's functions and fundraisers. Married to Marc "Smoky" Panepinto for 45 years, Connie embraced life with love and adventure. Together, they raised a family instilling strong values of ethics and faith. Their shared passions brought them to travel to many beautiful destinations, enjoying outdoor recreation from camping in state parks across the United States to exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland and Italy.
A woman of deep faith, Connie attended Shepherd of the Hills Calvary Chapel, where she assisted with the church bookstore. Her kindness and giving spirit extended beyond her family and church. She volunteered with Operation 143 in Pottstown, a program dedicated to providing meals for food-deprived children. Above all, Connie cherished her role as a doting grammy to her two granddaughters, Elodie (5) and Aubrey (3). She cherished the time she was able to spend with them. Her creative spirit shone through in her love for painting and artistic crafts, such as 3-dimensional crafts - ornaments and seashells, along with knitted gifts.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Marc (Krystle) and Michael (Tiffany); two granddaughters, Elodie and Aubrey; siblings, Sandra Crawford (James) and Clifford Wood (Susan); and beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. In remembrance of Connie's life, a visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:45 AM with a service to follow at 11 AM on January 10, 2026 at Shepherd of the Hills Calvary Chapel, 527 Hoffmansville Rd, Bechtelsville, PA. Following the service all are invited to a luncheon to be held in the church fellowship hall. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Samaritan's Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org) or Operation 143 (www.operation143.org).
