Virginia E. Snyder (Ginny) was born in Spring City, PA on February 20, 1934, to the late Clarence and Elsie Slifer. She passed away on January 30, 2026, at the Keystone Villa in Douglassville, PA where she last resided. Virgina was wife of the late Douglas E Snyder who passed away in 2018. Ginny attended Pottstown High School. She loved roller skating and met her future husband at Ringing Rocks Skating Rink. They married and moved to Boyertown in 1954 to raise their family.

Ginny had a large appetite for fun and adventure, she loved traveling with Doug in their motor home throughout the U.S. Many summers were spent at their Delaware vacation home fishing, and clamming which included many fish fries and clambakes.

They were always ready to play a good game of cards with family and friends, especially hausy and pinochle.

They also loved spending time attending their grandchildren's sporting events and were loyal fans of the Boyertown American Legion Baseball team.

Her most cherished time was with her family during any kind of family gathering, especially the holiday dinners and our Sunday night get togethers at their home in New Berlinville. She was a gentle soul and full of life, she will be deeply missed and always loved.

Ginny is survived by her daughters Audrey Eddinger (Larry), Judith Hunter (Randy), Kathy Miller (Mike) and Linda Gabel (Companion Tom). 8 grandchildren Wendy Gabel (Shane), Christine Kemp (Kenny), Mandy Lobaugh (Scott), Amber Rodiguez (Frank), Erik Miller (Kelly), Kelli Benfield, Shawna Clark (Brett) and Jared Benfield. Ginny is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother John Slifer and her grandson Travis Hunter.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA
