Batavia - William R. Wagner, age 55, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026.
He was born on March 26, 1970 in Greenville, Pennsylvania a son of the late Frederick L. and Mary Stockfield Wagner.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he held many executive chef jobs, most recently at Sunny's Restaurant in Batavia. A member of the Fire Department in Fredonia, Pa., he earned his EMT Certificate in 1995. He was also a member of the Lions Club in Fredonia, Pa. and Masonic Lodge No. 668 in Shanengo, Pa. He volunteered for the Mercer County Habitat for Humanity from 2006 to 2007.
He is survived by his brother, Frederick L. (Cheryl) Wagner of Batavia and nieces and nephews.
There are no prior visiting hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
