Constance M. (Valiante) Rando, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 3, 2026. She was 93 years of age.
Connie grew up in Somerville Mass. She was one of six children. She was married in 1953 to James Rando. After a year of marriage they built their house In Wilmington where they raised their four children. She loved painting and was quite an accomplished artist in many mediums. She also loved crocheting, cooking, and worked as a custom drape maker in her younger years. One of her greatest joys was spending time with and cooking for her grandchildren. Connie was a devout Catholic and parishioner at St. Agnes church for many years.
Constance is the beloved wife of the late James Rando. She is the cherished mother of James Rando, Joseph Rando and his wife Lori, Janice Goodwin and Judy Newton and her husband Edward. Loving grandmother of Shaun Canavan, Kellie Moore, Megan LeClair, Michael Canavan and his wife Darlin, Charles Newton and Daniel Newton and his wife Randi. Great grandmother of Jacob Canavan Morel, Marissa Romeo and her husband Paul, Cameron LeClair, Mitchell Canavan, Caleb Canavan, Samuel Moore, Gabriel Moore, Dalbert Veras, Samir Veras, Luke Canavan, Rosalie Newton and Nathaniel Newton. Dear sister of the late Joseph, Robert and Paul Valiante, Eleanor MacFarland and Nancy Evans.
Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Saturday January 10th, 2025 at 9:30 followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Constance's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday January 9th, 2025 in the funeral home from 4 pm to 7 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
