Constance Ann Riggs

I began working with Connie in 2013 when I was hired to work at Mahan in Special Education. Our team of 6, who worked together for many many years became a family. Our families expanded and we shared our lives working together every day.
Connie quickly showed me that all students had so much potential for learning, and with special instruction and love, they did just that. They blossomed and grew and it brought us all joy to be a part of it. Connie was a leader, and she taught us all many things when it came to "our kids". She protected them fiercely & loved her work.
May she rest in peace and I send my sincere condolences to her family
