Constance Ann Wolf Rowland, affectionately known as Connie, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on August 19, 1949, in Louisville, Connie dedicated much of her life to her role as a homemaker, nurturing her home and her family with boundless love and care.
Connie is remembered as a creative spirit with many interests that brought joy to her daily life. She had a deep passion for arts and crafts, often transforming simple materials into beautiful creations. Her love for gardening allowed her to cultivate not just plants, but also a sense of tranquility and beauty in her surroundings. An avid reader, Connie found solace in literature, immersing herself in stories that enriched her life and sparked her imagination.
She is survived by her cherished family, including her daughter, Laura Marie Rowland of Carrollton, Kentucky, and her two sons, Ryan A. Rowland (Mary Edwards) of Bennington, Indiana, and Kyle Rowland of Carrollton, Kentucky. Connie also leaves behind her beloved grandson, Landon Rowland, and a lively crew of grandpups and grandcats, who brought immense joy to her life.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Lee Rowland, and her parents, Alvin and Dorothy Bain Wolf. She is also mourned by her two sisters, Susan Wolf Lawrence and Mary Kaye Wolf Steinmetz, both residing in Louisville, Kentucky, who will carry on her memory within their hearts.
Services to honor Connie's remarkable life will be held at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, Kentucky. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Mass at St. John Catholic Church at 507 5th St, Carrollton, Kentucky on Saturday, April 26, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in Carrollton.
Connie's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her legacy of love and creativity will be remembered fondly by family and friends alike.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Kysoc Hope Center of Carroll County in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
