Constance Sue "Connie" Shearer, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 12, 1952, and was a graduate of Warwood High School in Wheeling, West Virginia, Class of 1970.

She moved to Florida in 1971 where she received her Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries from St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida. Connie was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and loved spending time with her extended Church family at local venues. She was a true Miami Dolphins fan and enjoyed watching the games at Duffy's Sports Grill. She loved to sing and took a lot of pride in being a member of the Robert Sharon Chorale in West Palm Beach. She also enjoyed substitute teaching and tutoring.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Shearer. She is survived by her mother Geraldine Ewing, uncle John O'Hara, half-sister Monica Shearer Lytle, stepbrothers Tim (Tana) and Kent (Sheila) Ewing, stepsisters Leslie Taubken and Kim Loop, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County or Trustbridge Hospice Care.

I am so sorry for the loss of Connie; she was my Cha Cha when I went on my Cursillo. I had gotten sick during my Cursillo period and she took care of me. She and I also were teachers and I learned a lot about patience from her.
Thanks Connie
