Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. - HolleyBrockport: Constance “Connie” A. Smith, age 84, passed away on March 4, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born August 25, 1941 in Ontario, Canada to the late Walter and Esther (Flugel) Eden.
Connie enjoyed tending to her garden and seeing the lovely flowers every year. She also loved doing arts and crafts and bird watching. Connie was very proud to have been crowned as the NYS Queen of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), losing over 200lbs. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy along with her dog Koda.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Donald Smith, daughter Valerie Pierce, siblings Gary (Linda) Eden, Walter Eden, and Carol Eden.
Connie is survived by her children, Daniel (Ann) Zaccour, Cheryl (Greg) Bidwell, son-in-law Ronald W. Pierce II, grandchildren Timothy (Felicia) Bidwell, Shelby (Kyle) Bidwell Jung, Jessica Zaccour, Sheldon (Amely Musleh) Bidwell, Gabrielle (Kyle) Daly, Brittany Drake, Rylee Pierce, Ronnie Pierce, 5 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Alice Eden, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Connie's family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 16650 State Route 31 Holley, NY 14470 on Monday, March 16th from 6:00-7:00pm.
