Born with physical disabilities, Connie lived a simple but fulfilling life. She found much joy in expressing herself through jewelry and makeup, always making herself look pretty, no matter the occasion. Connie had great affection for everyone's furry pets and delighted in watching birds at the feeder. Visiting her sisters and brother and family celebrations gave her wonderful anticipation and excitement. She dearly loved her family, as well as her group home experiences and caregivers throughout her life.
Connie is survived by her siblings Alice (William) Worden, Joyce (Donald) Denys, and Alan (Monica) Wyrzykowski, nieces and nephews Marie (Charles) Thomas, Nicole (Bradam) O'Donnell Wakula, Jeffrey (Brandy) Denys, Jessica (Rob Weir) Mallock, Seth Wyrzykowski, and Luke Wyrzykowski, and great-nieces and great-nephews Annaliese, Declan, Sarabeth, Brady, Myles, Simon, Brennan, and Benjamin. She is preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Phyllis, as well as nephews Ryan O'Donnell and Douglas Mallock.
Funeral services will be privately held at St. Kieran Catholic Church, Shelby Twp. Connie will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
