Guest Book
A service in memory of Consuelo "Corpus" Perez, 84, of Cleburne, will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, followed by burial at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 P.M.
Consuelo passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, in Cleburne. She was born on January 2, 1941, in San Benito, Texas. Consuelo devoted her life to her family. She married Mariano Perez on December 25, 1960, in Edinburg, Texas, and they shared 49 wonderful years together until his passing on July 30, 2010. Consuelo was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. As a dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and dancing, bringing joy and warmth to those around her. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Silvia White (Donnie), Sandra Nevarez (Alberto), and Joe Perez (Arlene); her grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Matt, Jeremy, Jillian, Jordyn, Jadyn, Justyce, Dax, Damian, and Angel; her great-grandchildren, Clara, Carleigh, Gretchen, Lucy, Gemma, Luke, and Gus; and her siblings, Victoria Reyna, Rachel Corpus, Benita Salazar, Isabel Corpus, Anita Corpus, Florencio Corpus, Hector Rosalez, and Benito Rosalez.
Consuelo was preceded in death by her parents, Luis Corpus and Jesusa Estrada Corpus; her beloved husband; her daughter, Susan Perez; and several siblings.
Her legacy will live on through the love she shared, and the memories created with her family and friends.
