Cor’Shawn Tyrekas McGee, age 19, died on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Prism Health Hospital. His early departure has left his entire family, friends and countless others who loved him, overwhelmingly hurt and heartbroken.
Cor’Shawn is survived by his parents, mother Sade McGee, father James Kirksey and stepfather Javokeus Hall; brother, Jeremih Smith; sister, Hannah McGee; great-grandfather, William Charles McGee; grandparents, Shirleen (Jerry) Harris and Jacqueline Hall, aunts, Brittany and Destiny McGee, Cartisha Jenkins and Mignona and Jasmine Hall; uncles, Cory McGee, Howard Peters, Jamal (Slop) Smith, and Gerald Whitner.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Shirley McGee; grandfather, Derrick Thompson; and uncle Marcus (Boogie) McGee. Cor’Shawn always held a special place in is heart and a brotherly bond with his cousin, Jamarcus (Marco) McGee.
Until we meet again, dear Cor’Shawn, we will all cherish our memories and you will never be forgotten.
Funeral services: Sunday, April 28, 2024, 2:00pm at Long Branch Baptist Church with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
