Cora Elizabeth Lee Jackson, 76, of Brownies Creek, Kentucky, passed away on April 21, 2025, at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. Cora was born in Pathfork on September 12, 1948, to the late John Howey and Sarah Ellis Lee. Cora had retired from the Bell County School Board of Education, where her students were some of her fondest memories. Cora had been saved and baptized at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her most prized treasures.
In addition to her parents Cora is preceded in death by eleven brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish Cora's memory is her husband of fifty-eight years and the love of her life David Jackson, children, Johnnie (Bobbie) Jackson, Robbie (Michele) Jackson, and Ronnie (Tonya) Jackson, grandchildren, Kayla (Thomas Michael) Evans, Amanda (Carson) White, Laura (Logan) Disney, and Ronnie Austin (Erika) Jackson, great grandchildren, Kameran, Jackson, Sophia, Adalyn, Kyzer, Lincoln, Maverick, and Caleb; sisters which were her best friends, Betty (Arlie) Miracle, and Myrtle Wilder, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, who she claimed as her own.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, with Rev. Bo Lee, Rev. David Miracle, and Rev. Jeff Burke officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM until the funeral hour, at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, Kentucky.
Friends and family will meet on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Upland Cemetery in Hulen, for graveside services, with John Robert Miracle, JP Miracle, Ronnie Austin Jackson, Logan Disney, Thomas Evans, and David Paul Jackson serving as pallbearers.
