Cora Brenda Peyton McNair best known as Brenda, was born August 18, 1948, to Lawerence and Mary Peyton Sr. in Moss Point, MS. She was called home on October 17, 2025, at her residence surrounded by loved ones.

Brenda attended Magnolia High School, class of 1966 and attended Job Corps, where she received a trade in Electronics. After completing her trade, she was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS. While working at Ingalls, Brenda was injured due to a fall and was unable to return to the workforce in 1977. At that time, she became a homemaker.

Brenda was baptized in 1976 and became a member of the Lighthouse Church of the Apostolic Faith in Moss Point, MS, under the late Elder John Brown Sr. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who loved to be surrounded by family while enjoying her tasty Food and delicious pies, and cakes.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lawerence and Mary Peyton Sr., her companion of 48 years, Richard L Campbell Sr. her sister Helen Peyton, brother, Robert Stallworth; niece Nadine Smith, Uncles Baylous (Inez) Greene and James Greene, and brother-in-law Flanders Sherrod.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Lovell McNair Jr. Moss Point, MS, Detriche (devoted son-in-law Sammie Blake Jr.,) Gonzales, LA., Helen McNair (Roy Stanton II) Pascagoula, MS, Devoted sons Richard Campbell III and Marquise Campbell, Moss Point, MS. Her sister Breland Sherrod and brother Lawerence Peyton Jr, Moss Point, MS., sister-in-law Marcia Stallworth Pascagoula, MS., a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and many other loved ones.
