Corazon L. Manila

With deep love and faith, we announce the passing of Corazon Laureano Manila, lovingly known as Cory, by her family and closest friends, born on May 4, 1944, who peacefully entered eternal rest on December 31, 2025.

A deeply devoted Catholic, her faith was the foundation of her life, anchored in prayer. She lived her beliefs through service, perseverance, and her faith guided every season of her life. It was her constant source of strength, comfort, and hope. She believed deeply in the power of family, love, and perseverance, and she instilled these values in her children and grandchildren. Cory was the heart and soul of her family.

Cory was also a woman of remarkable strength and determination filled with ambition. She

worked tirelessly, often holding two jobs, including her career at the Post Office, to lovingly

support her family while never letting go of her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Through hard work, talent and passion, she owned her own manufacturing business and later launched her fashion line, Angeluz Couture, specializing in bridal gowns and special occasion dresses. Her designs were proudly sold at Nordstrom and Story Book Catalog, a reflection of her talent, creativity, and unwavering commitment to her craft.

She later continued her work as a seamstress at David's Bridal, La Soie Bridal and Nordstrom, where she shared her gift and attention to detail with countless Brides, Bridesmaids and Flower Girls. After over 20 years of dedicated service, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and care. Above all else, Cory cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She poured endless love into her children and grandchildren. She was happiest surrounded by family, offering guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love.

Her grandchildren, whom she adored dearly, were her greatest joy, keeping her young at heart and filling her life with laughter, purpose, and love.

She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, deep faith, creativity, generous heart, and boundless love for her family. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, lessons, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Though we grieve her passing, we find comfort in knowing she now rests in the loving arms of our Lord, reunited with those who have gone before her.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 11 from 4-8 PM with a Vigil service to be held at 5 PM at Twin Chapels Mortuary, Vallejo. Mass will held Monday, January 12 at 1 PM at St. Dominic's Church, Benicia. Inurnment will be at All Soul's Cemetery, Vallejo.
