Corey Andras Obituary
Corey Paul Andras, age 50, born in Thibodaux, LA and resident of Metairie, LA, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Falgout Funeral Home, in Raceland, from 9 am until service time. A memorial service will be held in his honor beginning at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Corey is survived by son, Jarren Andras; father, Randy Andras (Darlene); brothers, Kennie Andras and Garland Andras; sisters, Shelly Davis Matherne and Kendra Thomas Brown; lifetime partner, Gerarda Hamilton and family; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who all shared in the joy of knowing him.
Corey was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda Lavergne Ayme; grandparents, Alton Lavergne and Rose Miller Toups, Edwin Andras and Mildred Andras; paran, Roland Lavergne; aunt, Teashea Toups.
Corey had a sense of humor like no other. He loved having fun, joking around, laughing, making others around him laugh, and most of all, eating a good meal. Most describe him as a great guy with a big heart and adventurous spirit. He devoted his life to caring for others, serving as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner with unwavering compassion and commitment to his patients and colleagues alike. He will be dearly missed by all.
