Corey Kenta Barlow was born in Dover, Delaware, on January 10, 1980, and departed this life on August 29, 2024.
Corey attended Dover High School and worked on the hospitality team at Cheddars in Camden, Delaware.
Corey loved dressing nicely and discussing the good days with his grandmother. He was always on the go. Some of his favorite things were basketball, reality shows, nice sneakers, watching movies, wearing different types of eyeglasses, and eating a good meal. He liked turkey bacon and grits. Simply put, Corey loved life!
Corey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Retha M. Cooper; and grandfather, Thomas Cooper.
Corey leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Dayanna Smack and Areeva Perry; his mother, Barbra Barlow; father, Ira Bowers; one sister, Angalee Barlow; three brothers, Rodey Barlow, Jerome Barlow, and Tyrone Barlow; six aunts, Mary Mills, Shirley Burris, Anie Thompson, Lizzy Pearl, Theresa Barlow and Diane Barlow; three uncles, Donnie Barlow, Rocé Barlow, and Roger Barlow; his favorite cousin, Monique Sturgis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
