Corey Stephen Ferrucci

Corey Stephen Ferrucci passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Corey was born on May 3, 1997, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to loving parents, Ronald and Monica Ferrucci. After graduating from high school, Corey joined the United States Marine Corps to proudly serve his country, fulfilling his childhood dream.

Corey enjoyed playing his guitar. Whether it was singing with a microphone at karaoke, or on one of his long drives he often took when traveling on his many adventures, he knew the importance of a good playlist. He would often be behind the grill, flipping steaks and creating delicious food for everyone to enjoy. 

Surviving Corey are his parents, Ronald Ferrucci Jr, and Monica Ferrucci Klinesteker; his siblings, Joe Ferrucci and Jessica Ferrucci; his grandparents; Ronald and Helen Ferrucci (Sr.); his step-father, Bobby Klinesteker; and his former wife and forever friend, Sierra (Millers) Ferrucci. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Stephen “Pop Pop” and Enid “Mimi” Pearsall.

A memorial service will be held in Corey’s honor on Friday, September 20, 3pm, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 411 East Centre Avenue, Portage, Michigan 49002. Visitation will be held for two hours prior, from 1pm to 3pm at the same location.

A Supper provided by the South Kalamazoo County Fire Authority and Pavilion Township Fire Department Associations will be held directly following the service at the Vicksburg United Methodist Church, 217 S Main Street, Vicksburg, Michigan.

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, we will be having a Remembrance Gathering from 3pm-5pm with the family, at Monica's house. We welcome all who wish to come reflect, share, and comfort as Corey’s reach was as wide as he is tall.
