Corey John Proctor, 34, of East Windsor, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 2, 2025 leaving his family and friends heartbroken.
Corey was born on November 6, 1990 in Bristol, CT son to Cliff Proctor, of Plainville, and the late Rebecca (Kelly) Proctor-Silvernale. Raised in East Windsor, he spent his childhood surrounded by loving family and friends. In his youth, he participated in little league baseball, where he not only honed his athletic skills but also formed lasting friendships and cherished memories. At a young age, Corey met the love of his life and best friend, Chelsea Cassano, and together they shared a remarkable 16 years of love and companionship.
Corey's spontaneity and zest for life were evident in all that he did. He approached each day with enthusiasm, living life on his own terms and inspiring those around him to do the same. Corey truly embodied the phrase "life of the party" and was known for his ability to light up any room he entered, especially on game day rooting for the Patriots, his favorite team. He was always quick with a joke or a funny story that kept others laughing and in a good mood.
Corey embraced the great outdoors, finding joy in fishing, hiking, and organizing memorable cookouts with family and friends. Corey's beloved dog, who was his constant companion, was always by his side for every adventure. He shared an unexplainable love for his dogs, cherishing each moment spent with them and his ability to connect with animals was both impressive and heartwarming to witness.
Corey was a beacon of resilience, never allowing setbacks to define him. He approached life with optimism, embracing each day as an opportunity to learn and grow. His laughter and zest for adventure were infectious, and he leaves behind a legacy of joyous moments and cherished memories.
Corey is survived by his soulmate, Chelsea Cassano, his beloved dog, Biscuit, his father, Cliff Proctor and his wife, Elaine, his sisters, Cassandra Proctor and Carleigh Proctor and her husband, Abdul Kuta, his brother, Peyton Proctor, his step-father, Brian Silvernale, his step-brothers, Brian Silvernale and Keith Silvernale, his nephews, Camron Pelletier and Cayden Pelletier, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
