Cornelius McIntosh, 87, of Eufaula Oklahoma, peacefully passed from this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Midwest City, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Cornelius was born on December 2, 1938 in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the son of George Washington and Ethel (Scott) McIntosh. He graduated from high school and enlisted in the United States Army serving in the Artillery Unit. In 1971, Cornelius married Gerilyn Elizabeth Deere. They were happily married for forty-eight years. Cornelius worked as a butter cutter for Wilsey Bennett.
Cornelius loved all his family and friends very much. He loved when people would come and visit so that he could share his love and stories with them.
He loved going to Pow Wows especially the ones in Eufaula where he could share the Native Way with his children and grandchildren.
Dallas Cowboys was his favorite team, but he loved to watch soccer on TV and call it football.
He loved Sofkey, Fry Bread. Lemon cake and Cherry pie. If you showed up with any of these he would smile from ear to ear.
He loved his hometown of Eufaula and would often ride his motorized scooter through town saying hi and waving at people in which he gained the nick name of speedy.
He had a lot of nick names and would always answer to any of them with a smile. Corny, Mack, Pops. and Mac-A-Doo
Cornelius is survived by his sons George McIntosh and wife Susan of Holdenville, OK, Rick McIntosh and wife Lynda of Oklahoma City, OK and Brennan McIntosh and wife Lara of Mustang, OK; grandchildren Chennea McIntosh, Georgetta McIntosh, Dursilla McIntosh, Jeremy McIntosh, Chasity Dunagan, Rickey McIntosh, Savannah Hague, Joshua McIntosh, Jordyn Marquez, Ashleigh McIntosh, Dakota McIntosh, Eden Shaw, Devin McIntosh, Karlee McIntosh, Aiden McIntosh and Noah McIntosh.
Cornelius is preceded in death by his parents George and Ethel McIntosh, wife Gerilyn and son Aaron McIntosh.
