CORNELL EVERY

Cornell Every, Sr. departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the age of 67. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Cornell was a 1976 graduate of West Jefferson High School. He was a retired Longshoreman/ Handyman. Loving father of Cornell Martin, Jr. Grandfather of the late Cornell Anthony Martin III. Devoted son of Selena H. Every and the late Adam Every, Jr. Grandson of the late Adam, Sr. and Amy Every, Eddie, Sr. and Cecelia Harris. Beloved brother of Adam (Lana) Every III, Leo Every, Sr., Thelma Hunter, Maxine Every, and the late Leroy Every, Sr., Ernest Every, Sr., Royal Ace Every, Lois E. Slyve, Elaine Every, Louise Every, Corrine Charles, and Shirley Matthews. Cornell is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
