Corrine M. Davis-Sullivan

MOULTONBOROUGH--- Corrine "Corie" Mary Davis–Sullivan passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 11, 1947, to John and Alice (Cannon) Maher, Corie lived a full and spirited life marked by courage, humor, and endless curiosity.
She was predeceased by her first husband, James Davis, and her brother, Jack Maher, and is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Sullivan. Corie was the proud and loving mother and stepmother of James and Carey Davis; Sean and Alexis Davis; Elizabeth Davis; Laurianne and Randy Whelan; and Shawn and Leslie Sullivan. She cherished her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride.
She is also survived by her sister, Pauline Maher, and brother, Robert Maher, and his wife, Leona, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and resilience, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will remember her warmth, humor, and compassion.
Corie was a woman of tremendous spirit and independence. Whether riding her motorcycle, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, or snowmobiling through the winter woods, she embraced every day with energy and enthusiasm.
She taught in both Moultonborough and at Madison Park High School in Roxbury, remembered for her sharp wit, creativity, and care for her students. Later, she served at Moultonborough Town Hall and helped establish lasting community programs. Corie also founded the Shoot Out for Cancer fundraiser and a local scholarship fund while serving as a board member at the Winnipesaukee Sportsman Club, both of which continue to benefit families today.
Corie's laughter filled every space, her courage lifted those around her, and her presence was impossible to forget. She lived life on her own terms and leaves behind a legacy of strength, generosity, and love that will be carried forward by all who knew her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, from 1:00–3:00 PM at Mayhew Funeral Home, Meredith, New Hampshire.
