Cory Broeker

Cory Alan Broeker, born on July 18, 1981, in North Platte, NE, passed away on November 15, 2025. Known for his dedication to his family and his work, Cory was a cherished member of his community in Milford, Nebraska.

Cory was a skilled Diesel Mechanic, a profession he enjoyed and dedicated himself to. His work was not only his employment but also a reflection of his character; strong, reliable, and always willing to lend a hand. Beyond his professional life, Cory was deeply passionate about his hobbies. He found joy in riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. However, nothing was more important to Cory than his family. He cherished his children and made them his top priority, always eager to share in their lives and experiences. His love for travel often took him and his family on memorable vacations, creating lasting memories together. As a deacon at Grace Missionary Church, Cory's faith was a significant part of his life and his service to his community.

Cory's life was shaped by the love he held for his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Lacey Broeker, daughter Alyshia Ernesti, sons Cody and Issiah Broeker, parents Alan & Valerie Broeker, Milford, NE; in-laws Herbert & Jean Greenwade, Milford, NE; brothers Adam (Lisa) Broeker, Kansas City, MO and Devon Broeker, Kansas City, MO; brothers-in-law Brant (Carmen) Greenwade, Lincoln, NE, and Aaron Greenwade, Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Cory is preceded in death by his grandparents Oral & Pearl Broeker and Richard & Joyce Gibbins.

Memorials are in care of the family for future designation.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2-8 pm with family to greet and receive relatives and friends from 5-7:30 pm at Lauber Funeral Home in Milford, Nebraska. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Grace Missionary Church in Milford, Nebraska. Burial will be at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, rural Milford, following the funeral service.
