Larry Jantze of Ellendale, ND formerly of Nebraska, Illinois, and Texas, passed away October 23, 2025 at the Oakes Good Samaritan Society where he had been a resident since April 2024.

He was born on October 26, 1934 in Milford, Nebraska to Lee and Lola (Eicher) Jantze. He graduated from Milford High School in 1951 and from Illinois State University in 1980. In the 1990's, Larry earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University.

On September 22, 1956, he was united in marriage to June Olson in Aberdeen, SD. Larry served from 1957 to 1959 in the US Army Signal Corps. Larry was an electrical engineer and during his career was employed with Automatic Electric, General Telephone and Verizon.

He was a member of the Mennonite Church of Normal, he enjoyed home remodeling, gardening and genealogy.

He is survived by his wife June; children, Steven Jantze, Bradenton, FL, Lynne Miller, Sarasota, FL, Michael Jantze, Seattle, WA and Christoper Jantze, Centennial, CO; grandchildren, Kelby Miller, New York, NY, Clinton Miller, Sarasota, FL, Carson Miller (Cassidy Hurley), Orlando, FL, Harrison Jantze, New Haven, CT, Colette Jantze, Duvall, WA, Nicholas Jantze, Centennial, CO and Benjamin Jantze, Centennial, CO; and sisters, Marilyn Eberspacher, Milford, NE and Sherry (Ken) Fougeron, Lincoln, NE.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack Jantze, Maurice Jantze, and Joseph Jantze and brother-in-law, Ron Eberspacher.

There will be a celebration of life service held on a later date in Milford, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Larry's Jantze name to Mennonite Disaster Service would be appreciated. Online guestbook signing here.
