Corwin "Cory" Dean Eden, age 45, of Willard, Missouri, passed away on September 7, 2025. Cory was born to Michael and Sherry Eden on October 2, 1979 in Springfield, MO.
Cory was involved in Boy Scouts from about the age of 10. As a teenager, he worked at Camp Arrowhead several summers and also attained the rank of Eagle scout.
Cory attended Willard Schools. During junior high and high school, he was very involved in choir, drama, and football.
Cory graduated high school a semester early so he could begin Marine Corps basic training. After completing basic training, he returned to walk at graduation with the Willard High School Class of 1998.
Cory proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years, before being honorably discharged in 2002.
Cory worked with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts as an operations lead. He had been employed with the company for nearly 10 years.
Cory was preceded in death by his father, Michael Eden and sister, Cortney Eden.
He is survived by his mother Sherry Eden; daughter Jada Eden; son Parker Eden and his Doberman Pinscher Hunter. Cory is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
A visitation for Cory will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025, 1:00 pm, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Willard Fire Protection District.
