Courtney M. Howard

Courtney M. Howard, age 36, of Versailles, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. She was born December 31, 1988, in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Walter V. and Teresa M. (Loy) Howard.
Courtney was currently working for the Morgan County Circuit Clerk's office as a court clerk.
She was an avid photographer who found beauty in the everyday moments of life and loved capturing them through her lens. She loved hiking, working on cars and had a special love for all animals.
Her greatest joy in life was her son, Landon, with whom she shared countless adventures, sporting events and memories. Traveling together brought them both happiness. Her love for Landon was endless and evident in all that she did.
Courtney will be remembered for her kind heart, adventurous spirit and the way she made others feel valued and loved.
She is survived by her son, Landon, of the home; her parents, Walter and Teresa Howard of Salem, Missouri; her sisters, Kelly M. Clark of Kingston, Missouri and Heather L. Jokerst and husband Wade of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Samuel Clark, William Clark, Casen Jokerst, Daniel Clark, Isabelle Clark and Emersyn Jokerst and many friends.
A celebration of Courtney's life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ozark Kat and K9 Shelter.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
