Craig Barnard Obituary

Craig Alan Barnard, Oshkosh, loving husband and father, entered eternity on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the age of 69. He was born in Columbus, IN to the late Robert and Alma (Hayden) Barnard. Craig is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his wife, Rosemary (Lloyd) Barnard; children, C.Thomas (Jessica) Barnard, Agoura Hills, CA, Daniel (Jennifer) Barnard of Avon, IN, E. Brynne (Tom) Clippard of Beverly, IL, Steven (Natalie) Barnard of Glen Ellyn, IL; step-sons, Michael Gierczyk of Willow Springs, IL, Marty Gierczyk of Shaker Heights, OH; as well as beloved grandchildren; brother, James Barnard of Skokie, IL, uncle Harley Barnard of Ladoga, IN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert (Jan) Lloyd, Michael (Ellen) Lloyd, Allen (Judy) Lloyd, Susan Lloyd, Russell (Patricia) Diener; along with nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents.

Craig had a passion for people, music, and cars. His schooling included Eastern Illinois University (B.M.E.) and Educational Counseling (M.S.Ed), Texas Tech University, (Ed.D) Higher Education & Adult Learning. If you would like to give a memorial, three organizations held special significance for Craig; Franki Jo Mascato Foundation, Damascus Road Project, Inc., and Bella Medical Clinic, all of Oshkosh. We, as a family, wish to send a special thank you to Dr. Robert Bayer, Dr. Jayesh Mehta, Dr. Goggins, Dr. Heider, Dr. Dar, and all their wonderful staff. Also special thanks to our teams from Aurora at Home and Aurora Hospice.

In lieu of mourning, we request the joy of your company to celebrate Craig's remarkable life. We will gather on October 4, 2024 at Plymouth Church, 1325 Georgia Street, Oshkosh, WI, 54902. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with celebration of life, and a time of gathering to follow.

To Susie and Rosie and family,
I am so sorry for your loss, I know that Craig had been sick for a long time by talking to Susie. He is a peace with the Lord now. My deepest sympathy.
