Harold Craig Dunagin, 50, of Spartanburg, died Friday, December 1, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Craig was born on August 1, 1973, in Spartanburg, a son of Harold Dean Dunagin of Waterloo, SC and the late Sandra Cooksey Dunagin Cantrell. 

Craig enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was also known for his love of cooking and baking. Craig was a former law enforcement officer with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Department and the Town of Chesnee. Prior to his law enforcement career, Craig was employed with Dunagin Concrete. 

Along with his father, Craig is survived by his children, Elizabeth Grace Dunagin, Anderson Craig Dunagin and Mia-Rae Harmon Dunagin; his sisters, Renee Poole, Tracy Wilson, and Leslie Dunagin; his nieces and nephews, Allison Poole Cantrell, Matt Poole, Joshua Wilson, Caleb Wilson, and Madison Harvey Brown; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Capri Poole, Kolbi Poole, Cameron Wilson, and Macklon Brown. 

The family will receive friends from1:00-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Boyter. Burial will be in Cannons Camp Ground United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3450 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

The family is at the home of Craig’s sister, Renee Poole.
